FAQ | Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between natural and engineered stone?

While both selections are very durable and stain resistant, there are a few things to consider.
Natural stone countertops, like granite, quartzite and marble, are mined from the earth and sliced into slabs—each piece is uniquely beautiful with its veins and patterns. The tops come out of our facility sealed, and should be resealed as needed.

Engineered countertops are different due to their man-made nature. Unlike granite or marble that are harvested from quarries, quartz countertops are engineered from crushed quartz stones combined with resin. They do not require resealing, however, they are slightly less heat tolerant at high temperatures.

How do I get a quote?

You may email or bring your project drawing to us. Your drawing can be cabinet drawings, a whole house plan, or simple measurements of your current surface. Be sure that in addition to the measurement, you also note any other specific details you desire (if known), such as: backsplash, sink option, edge profile, and if removal and disposal is needed. An experienced team member will then contact you to discuss your project and answer any other questions you may have.

What is the process once I made my decision?

Once you have decided to move forward with your project, we take a deposit to secure the material. When your cabinets are installed, or you are ready, one of our experienced team members will visit the site and create a template of the areas to be cut. accurately measure your surfaces and take note of any intricate details of your project to provide you with a beautifully customized finished product.

Once your template is complete, it is then carefully laid out on your slabs to best showcase your selected stone. If you desire to be included in the layout process and/or see or approve of our design, we will gladly set up an appointment for you to be a part of it. When the layout is confirmed, it is handed off to our highly skilled custom fabrication team. Our installation team will deliver and install your countertops in a professional manner.
